German Innovation Award 2020 for the HYMER B-ML I 880

• The HYMER B-Class MasterLine I 880 was selected as the “Winner” by the jury in the “Excellence in Business to Consumer - Transportation” category at the German Innovation Award 2020. It is the first tandem axle on the innovative HYMER SLC chassis. Due to its size with a length of 8.99 meters and its extensive equipment, the vehicle not only offers a generous feeling of space paired with maximum storage space but also top-class comfort without compromising on driving comfort.

Active Distance Assist including multifunction steering wheel keys

• DISTRONIC PLUS Driving Assist (including Active Brake Assist) helps to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front - and brakes automatically in an emergency. It minimises the risks of short safety distances, abrupt traffic stops or inattention.

• The inverter converts the 12 V battery voltage into 230 V alternating current so that you can operate your 230 V appliances (coffee machine, toaster, hairdryer, etc.) while on the road without a shore power connection.

Comfort-Plus entrance door incl. closing aid, RFID (keyless) access and central locking system

• If you are fully loaded and have no hand free, the habitation door can be opened particularly conveniently using an RFID chip. By holding the RFID chip in front of the door, the door lock is electronically operated and unlocked. The included closing aid ensures that the vehicle is securely locked.

Automatic compensation for differences in height

• At the push of a button, the hydraulic stabilizer jacks bring the vehicle into a horizontal position. This ensures that your vehicle has a clean and firm footing, even on uneven surfaces.

Flexible cooking

• The hybrid cooker has three cooking areas: an induction hob (230 V) and two gas rings. This has the advantage that you don’t have to use up all your gas reserves when cooking, but can switch to electric just like at home.

• An electric windscreen roller blind is optionally available to not only keep out prying eyes, but also protect the interior from too much sunlight as well as cold.

• For even more entertainment on the move, the sleeping area can be equipped with a second, 22-inch Smart LED-TV. The TV features built-in speakers, DVB-T/C, DVB-S2 and the HYMER Smart-Multimedia System with Bluetooth.

• Thanks to the optional 32-inch flat screen and the integrated HYMER Smart Multimedia System including Bluetooth connection, you can enjoy a real home cinema feeling even when you’re on the road. At the touch of a button, the flat screen TV can be electrically raised out of the bench seat’s backrest and then retracted back into it.

• There’s also the option of converting the pull-down bed into two single beds, providing even easier access.
