The Terrain rides on the Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter 2500 AWD chassis, equipped with a 144" wheelbase and a turbocharged 2.0L inline 4-cylinder Twin Turbo diesel engine that delivers 211 horsepower. Its powerful all-wheel drive system is backed by a suite of safety features to keep you in control wherever the trail leads. The JRide® ride and handling package adds Koni shocks and a heavy-duty rear stabilizer bar for a smooth and stable ride on rough terrain. When it’s time to gear up, a moveable roof ladder makes accessing your double roof rack simple, whether you're grabbing your kayak or storing camping essentials The integrated Lithionics® 48V 165 amp-hour smart lithium battery system supplies 7.9KW hours of clean, quiet power so you can stay off-grid longer. For those who prefer the affordability of a generator, a 2,500W LP generator can be optioned in place of the lithium package.

Inside, the Terrain’s Tecnoform® European-style cabinetry offers a sleek, modern look that’s as functional as it is stylish. An integrated countertop extension expands your prep space when needed and folds away to keep the space open. The dual bench seat includes two seatbelts and slide-and-recline features for a more comfortable and flexible ride. For those who don't need to seat more than two, an optional workstation in place of the dual bench seats provides an excellent space to work on the road.
