Level living area floor
A level living area floor stretches from the cab through to the sleeping area. As a result, the headroom remains constant throughout the interior and there are no steps to trip over.

Increased self-sufficiency
Because it’s diesel-powered, the hot-air heating system with boiler cuts gas consumption and increases your self-sufficiency when you’re on the go. The energy-saving 12-V 152-litre compressor refrigerator also boosts the vehicle’s self-sufficiency. Roof window / crank roof vent with included LED lighting 

Pleasant light and fresh air
The new HYMER panoramic crank roof vent, which is used in all motorhome model series, scores with even more headroom thanks to its lower construction. By embedding it in the living room design and, depending on the floor plan, with additional ambient lighting, it fits perfectly into the harmonious overall picture of the vehicles. Thanks to the best possible rain protection, it enables permanent ventilation as well as quick ventilation when positioned at an angle. It is also backwards compatible with the existing HYMER crank roof vent.

• The interior lighting throughout the vehicle features LED technology as standard. This cuts energy consumption by 75% and gives you hours of extra battery life. Since LEDs don’t get hot, this also improves fire and accident safety. On the kitchen extension in the HYMER Grand Canyon S, there is bread. Soft closing and safe handling

• All kitchen drawers are equipped with roller bearings for ultra-smooth action. They feature high-quality Soft close mechanisms and one-handed push-locks that prevent the drawers from opening and rattling when the vehicle is on the move.

Perfect privacy

• The concertina cab blinds made from a premium pleated fabric protect you from prying eyes and excessive sunlight during summer time.

Optimal insulation thanks to PUAL technology

• The PUAL-foamed walls with aluminium inner and outer skin are an important component of the vehicle’s durable high-tech bodywork. The excellent insulation of the closed-cell PU foam guarantees pleasant temperatures throughout the year and low gas consumption in winter. • For easy loading and unloading, the rear garage is equipped with a large garage door on the right in the direction of travel as standard.

• The nearly indestructible GRP underbody makes the motorhomes virtually immune to damage caused by inclement weather. Stone damage, grit and dirt are likewise kept at bay – a solid foundation for the service life of your entire motorhome.

All the room you need

• The large, easy-access garage can carry a maximum payload of 350 kg as standard – a 450 kg version is available as an option.

Active Distance Assist including multifunction steering wheel keys

• DISTRONIC PLUS Driving Assist (including Active Brake Assist) helps to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front - and brakes automatically in an emergency. It minimises the risks of short safety distances, abrupt traffic stops or inattention.

• The controlled solar installation supplies 2 x 95 W and thus makes you even more independent on the move – for greater freedom and self-sufficiency.

Additional garage flap

• For an even easier loading and unloading, the rear garage is also accessible via an additional LH exterior locker door. The door measures 75 x 85 cm.

• The high-performance LED headlights increase safety at night. They provide extra visibility thanks to their wide light distribution, low energy consumption and light colour, which is similar to daylight.

For economical and smooth driving

• The fuel-saving 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission does away with manual gear shifting and ensures smooth gear shifts. When necessary, simply press the brake pedal to activate the HOLD function which stops the vehicle from rolling forward at traffic lights or in stop-and-go traffic.

Lowerable double bed above the seating area

• An electrically lowerable double bed with cold foam mattress can be installed above the seating area (depending on the layout) to provide a comfortable additional berth for two people. When the lowerable bed is in its raised position, there’s adequate standing room underneath it. The vehicle’s total height is not increased by the bed.

Partitioning curtain for the sleeping area

• Indirect ambient lighting in LED technology makes the interior shine and ensures a pleasant feel-good atmosphere, especially in the evening.

For cosy warmth as well as warm water inside the vehicle

• With 6,000 watts of power, the diesel warm-air heating with warm-water boiler effortlessly ensures room temperatures and warm water even in sub-zero temperatures. Diesel operation and the resulting elimination of gas bottles have a positive effect on weight and storage space and increase self-sufficiency when travelling.
